In 1993, "Niigata Russian Village" was opened in Agano City, Niigata Prefecture, with the aim of cultural exchange with Russia. However, due to the collapse of the bubble economy, it closed down 11 years later. The luxurious and magnificent decoration and architecture became desolate over time. When filming began in 2016, the building was slowly being dismantled. The beautiful past gradually faded away in one of Japan's few theme parks. Although it is unknown whether new buildings will be erected, these photos bear witness to the existence of "Niigata Russian Village" at 139°E, 37°N.
